SHARP COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

Third Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Henry Boyce is warning residents of Sharp County to be aware of two Level 3 sex offenders moving into the area.

In a news release, Boyce said he felt “special attention needs to be given to monitor” the behavior of 36-year-old Daryl Malin and 40-year-old Henry C. Grandstaff.

Malin, convicted in 2002 of sexually assaulting a 6-year-old boy, is expected to live in the 300-block of Misty Lane in Cave City.

Grandstaff was convicted of first-degree sexual abuse in 2003 after he forced a 10-year-old girl he babysat to engage in sexual intercourse multiple times then used threats to keep her from telling anyone what he had done. He is expected to live in the 100-block of Needmore Road in Sidney.

Both men are considered Level 3 sex offenders, meaning they are a high risk to re-offend.
