CASH, AR (KAIT) -

Crews battled a house fire early Friday morning after they had put that same fire out hours before.

Jonesboro Dispatch said it sent crews around 1 a.m. after it became fully engulfed again.

The fire originally started around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday at an unoccupied house at 4307 Highway 18.

Eric Watkins, safety officer for the Cash Fire Department, said as soon as crews arrived they immediately went to work.

“When we got here it was coming out of the windows and doors so it was pretty much fully engulfed at that point,” Officer Watkins said.

Crews don’t know what caused the fire or what part of the house it started at.
