JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Jonesboro police arrested a man wanted out of Craighead County while on a traffic stop.

According to the incident report, it happened at 11:58 p.m. on Friday.

An officer saw the driver of a Chevrolet Impala driving on Phillips Drive when he noticed the car crossed the center line and nearly crashed into an oncoming vehicle.

The officer pulled the driver over in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn Express.

After speaking with the two people in the car, police discovered through dispatch that the passenger, Jason Lee Mckellar, 29, had warrants out of Craighead County.

Police arrested McKellar. Officials found a folded $1 bill with powdery white substance hidden in it and an Oxycodone pill in his pocket.

Inside the vehicle, police found marijuana crumbs as well as five white pills with the imprint Xanax on them which were identified as Alprazolam.

Mckellar told police the pills belonged to him.

He was taken to the Craighead County Detention Center and given a citation for nonpayment of fines.

Mckellar was also charged with possession of a schedule IV or V less than 28 grams and possession of a schedule I or II less than 2 grams.
