JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Jonesboro police arrested a restaurant employee Saturday night after he threatened to kill a coworker.

The On the Border Mexican Grill and Cantina's general manager told police Kayo Pearson, 19, and another employee got into an argument.

According to the report, the victim said he was washing dishes and Pearson was “standing around not doing anything.”

He asked Pearson to help wash dishes, and that is when Pearson reportedly got angry.

The report states Pearson called someone and asked them to “bring his strap,” referring to a gun.

After the phone call had ended, Pearson told the victim that he was going to kill him.

The general manager told Pearson to leave the restaurant, but he would not leave.

Later, police found Pearson walking out of his home in the 2200-block of Parkside.

Officers took Pearson to the Craighead County Detention Center.

He faces a first-degree terroristic threatening charge.
