Police want business owners to be vigilant of fake money

FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT) -

Police are asking business owners to be vigilant of funny money.

The Forrest City Police Department said it’s investigating counterfeit cash in the community.

Police received a large number of fake $20 bills from local businesses and they are asking people to use a counterfeit pen when dealing with cash.

Business owners should also be looking for these serial numbers tied to the fake bills:

MC20518893A
MB90268489A

Forrest City Crimestoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for any information in the case.
