Lawn mower, ATV stolen from Craighead County home

CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

A man in Craighead County is missing more than $10,000 worth of items after someone broke into his home.

According to the Craighead County Sheriff’s Department, the man reported his home and shed on County Road 367 was broken into sometime between Wednesday, Aug. 24 and Monday, Aug. 29.

The man told officers the lock on his shed had been cut and his John Deere lawn mower and tools were missing.

According to the report, the suspect also broke into his home and stole several televisions, DVD players, Xbox gaming consoles, and games.

The victim also told deputies his 2012 Honda 400 ATV was missing. He said it was chained to a pole but the chain had been cut.

According to the report, deputies do not have a suspect.

The total cost of all the stolen items came to $10,990.
