Police dept. schedules last conceal carry class for the year

PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) -

Those wanting to go through a concealed carry class in Greene County have one more chance to do so this year.

The Paragould Police Department announced their last concealed handgun license class for 2016 will be on Oct. 15 at 8 a.m., weather permitting. The class is hosted in conjunction with Black River Technical College.

It will be held on the BRTC campus in Paragould.

Instructors will be Paragould Police Chief Todd Stovall, Capt. Phillip Faulkner, and Capt. Greg Trout.

The cost of the class is $70. Coffee, sodas, snacks, and a light lunch will be provided at no extra cost.

If you need recertification, members of the police department will meet at the shooting range at noon the same day. The cost of recertification is $25.
