LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - UPDATE Sept. 6: The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department released the name of the man killed in a bush hog accident.
According to an incident report, 35-year-old Jeremy Scot Johnston attempted to jump onto the moving bush hog.
It also said the driver thought he hit a dirt mound but when he looked to see what it was, he saw Johnston.
After the driver saw Johnston, he ran to his truck and called 911.
The sheriff's department said they do no believe foul play was involved.
A man died Monday night after being run over by a bush hog in Lawrence County.
According to Lawrence County 911 Director Peggy Miles, it happened on county road 316 near Lynn around 7:10 p.m.
First responders found the 35-year-old man in a field just behind a house.
The Lawrence County Coroner and sheriff's deputies responded to the scene.
The man's identity has not been released yet.
The sheriff's department is still investigating the incident.
