LAKE CITY, AR (KAIT) -

Authorities are looking for two suspects who police say were pumped about stealing diesel pumps in rural Craighead County.

According to the Craighead County Sheriff's Office, Glen Bailey of Bailey Picker Repair on Arkansas 158 west of Lake City spoke to deputies about the incident Wednesday.

An employee there, Rick Whaley, said three Hispanic males went to the business around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, looking to buy diesel pumps. Whaley then went to answer the phone, deputies said.

"While he was on the phone, the suspects began loading diesel pumps and injectors into the bed of their truck. Before Whaley could get off the phone and back to talking with the three suspects, they left with the items they loaded up without paying for them," Deputy Josh J. Miller said.

The suspects were driving a white Ford F-250 newer model pickup truck, with possible Texas license plates.

Anyone with information on the thefts can call the Craighead County Sheriff's Office at 933-4551.
