GREERS FERRY, AR (KAIT) - Part of a highway is set to close in September for repairs.
According to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, one lane of Highway 25 across the Greers Ferry Dam will be closed from Sept. 12 until the 23.
The corps will work to repair monolith joints. There will be a drill and additional equipment on the roadway to make the repairs.
According to the news release, the work will require alternating lane closures throughout the project.
There will be signs and additional traffic lights to enforce cautious driving, but USACE asks drivers to take it slow through the area.
For more information on the closure or other projects call the Greers Ferry Project office at 501-362-2416.
