Jonesboro City Hall Gearing Up for First Mayor's Conference on Community & Economic Development

JONESBORO, AR - Jonesboro's first Mayor's Conference on Community and Economic Development is rapidly approaching, and according to city officials, reservations for the event are going fast.  The conference is set for Tuesday, May 10 at the ASU Convocation Center.

Keynote remarks will be delivered by Jon Chadwell, motivational speaker and Director of Economic Development with the Newport Economic Development Commission.  The event will also feature breakout sessions with focus on social services, economic development and housing & transportation. 

The event will also feature a question & answer session with Mayor Doug Formon.  The conference is free and open to the public, but space is limited and participants should reserve spots no later than Friday.  More information is available by calling the Jonesboro Department of Community & Economic Development at 870-933-4635.
