JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Police are investigating a shooting that injured a man in Jonesboro Monday night.

Jonesboro Police Detective Steve Richardson said someone shot a man at the 1800-block of Cedar Heights Drive at around 10:30 p.m.

According to a JPD news release, Jeremy Walker, 28, of Jonesboro was found by officers on the ground suffering from "multiple gunshot wounds to the torso."

Walker was taken to a local hospital where he is still being treated.

Officers were told the shooting followed an argument and fight between two individuals in the parking lot of the apartment building, according to the release. It did not state if Walker was involved in the fight.

No arrests have been made in the case.

He said police are looking for a person of interest, but also did not release their name or description.
