FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – “On the Air with Bret Bielema,” Coach Bielema’s weekly radio show presented by Lindsey and Westrock Coffee, returns Thursday night starting at 7 p.m. at the Catfish Hole in Fayetteville. This week’s show will feature the senior wide receiver duo of Keon Hatcher and Drew Morgan as the Razorbacks prepare to play at No. 15/12 TCU Saturday on ESPN.
Chuck Barrett, the voice of the Razorbacks, will host head coach Bret Bielema while fans can make reservations to attend the show by calling the Catfish Hole at 479-521-7008. Tickets are $25 and include all you can eat dinner buffet with catfish, shrimp and chicken.
The combo of Hatcher and Morgan helped Arkansas start the 2016 campaign 1-0 with a dramatic 21-20 win over Louisiana Tech last Saturday. Hatcher and Morgan were junior quarterback Austin Allen’s top two targets on the day, combining for 11 catches for 133 yards, including eight first downs. Both came up with critical plays on the eventual game-winning drive in the fourth quarter, as Morgan moved the chains with a catch on third down, while Hatcher had a pair of receptions that totaled 31 yards, highlighted by an 18-yard gain that included several yards after the catch.
Saturday’s game was the first for Hatcher since he suffered a season-ending foot injury in the second game last season. The Owasso, Okla. product is just eight catches shy of 100 for his career and has a first down reception in each of his last 20 games played. A preseason All-SEC third team choice by the media and member of the Biletnikoff Award watch list, Morgan has a catch in 15 consecutive games while 54 of his career 78 receptions have gone for a first down.
The show will be carried throughout the state of Arkansas on the Razorback Sports Network and locally in Fayetteville on 92.1 FM, 99.5 FM and 93.3 FM. Each show can also be heard live on www.ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
