Police: Woman fired gun at pregnant woman

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - A woman fired a gun at a pregnant woman in Blytheville.

According to a police report, officers responded to the 400-block of Pittman Street around 5:40 Sunday night.

Officer talked to the pregnant woman who said she stopped by her child's father's house to tell him her due date.

Before she could talk to the father, 23-year-old Tanayia Echols and the baby's father got into an argument about her being at the home.

The pregnant woman said Echols got out of a car and showed her a silver gun, according to the report.

Echols then reportedly acted like she was going to shoot the gun.

Echols walked into the house and came back out threatening to kill the pregnant woman, according to the report.

The report said the father of the baby tried to take the gun, but Echols' fired the gun toward the woman.
