3 suspects wanted in convenience store robbery

CARDWELL, MO (KAIT) - The Dunklin County Sheriff's Office is searching for three suspects involved in a convenience store robbery.

Sheriff Bob Holder issued a news release stating the robbery happened at the Lucky Mart convenience store (also known as J&P Flash Market) on Highway F in Cardwell around 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Holder states three suspects, two white males and one black male, entered the store and robbed it at gunpoint.

A clerk told the department the black male entered first, pointed a gun at her face, and demanded money. The employee said the gun had a light on it and the suspect kept the gun pointed at her face the entire time.

The other two suspects took money out of the register and grabbed cigarettes before all three left the store.

The black male was described as wearing all black clothing, including a hat, bandana, t-shirt, and jacket.

One white male suspect wore a red sleeveless shirt, black shorts, and a white hockey mask. The other white male was wearing a white shirt, green shorts, high-top sneakers, and a white hockey mask, according to Holder.

The suspects drove away in a silver or gold van, possibly a Chrysler model, with Arkansas tags.

Holder's department continues to investigate the robbery.
