Also, meat and poultry products sold in clear bags with sell-by dates between Oct. 30, 2016, and March 19, 2017, that were sold in Chicken City stores have been recalled.

The recall includes chicken and meat sold in store in the following cities:

  • White Hall

A USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service investigator found products were being stored under unsanitary conditions in the storage area of the property.

Items tested positive for alkaline phosphates which demonstrated evidence of possible fecal matter.

There have been no confirmed reports of illness due to eating the recalled products, but consumers who have purchased the recalled products are urged to not consume the products and throw away or return it to the place they were bought.
