JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro police are investigating a Sunday night armed robbery and are searching for two suspects.

Numerous Jonesboro police officers and detectives were called to the Dollar General, 1616 North Church Street around 10 p.m.

According to a Jonesboro Police Department report, employees told officers two black male suspects, both armed with handguns, came into the store.

One employee said she ran to the back office once the guns were pointed at her. She described one as black and silver while the other was all black.

The suspects reportedly followed and forced her back to the register to open it.

During this time, a customer walked in and the suspects reportedly hid behind the employee until they left.

Then the suspects took an undisclosed amount of money, jumped over the counter and ran from the store.

They were last seen running toward Parker Park.

The suspects were dressed in all black, wearing masks and had backpacks. One reportedly had a skeleton bandana wrapped around his face.

One of the suspects was also described as wearing dark pants with lettering on the right leg, based on a review of surveillance video by police.
