SEARCY, AR (KAIT) -

Searcy police need help identifying a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint.

The robbery happened Sunday, Sept. 4, at the Valero gas station located at 1199 N. Maple.

According to Officer Terri Lee, public information officer for the Searcy Police Department, the man entered the store just before 2:30 a.m. brandishing a black semi-automatic handgun.

He stole an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the store.

The man wore a dark blue shirt, black shorts, a black hat, and red and black high-top shoes. A patterned scarf covered his face, Lee stated.

Anyone who can identify the man in these photos or a video posted on the police department’s Facebook page should call (501) 268-3531.
