SEARCY, AR (KAIT) -

Police say four men arrested in a Waffle House holdup may be linked to other recent restaurant robberies.

At approximately 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, someone robbed the Waffle House, 3305 E. Race in Searcy, and stole the cash register.

After robbing the restaurant, the suspects led officers with the Searcy and Austin Police Departments and the White County Sheriff’s Office on a brief chase.

After the “vehicle was disabled,” according to a news release from Terri Lee, public information officer for SPD, officers arrested Terrence Robinson, 19, of North Little Rock on suspicion of aggravated robbery and fleeing.

They also arrested Keylan Comic, 18; Chandler Bragg, 19; and Deshaun Morton, 18, all of Little Rock, on suspicion of aggravated robbery.

Lee said all four men are being held in lieu of $100,000 bond.

She also said Tuesday’s incident is being investigated to see if there is a connection to other recent Waffle House robberies. One Little Rock restaurant, according to KATV, was robbed twice on Sunday. In the second incident, the suspect stole the cash register.
