Brookland off to a quick 2-0 start

Brookland takes it one game at a time

Lets stick with our Football Friday night theme.

Brookland is off to a fast start.

Look to go 3-0 but on Friday they'll have to get through Manila and do it on the road.

Wins over Cedar Ridge and Corning have the Bearcats 2-0.

Their offense has been explosive putting up 90 points in two games.

I received a tweet that said this is the best start in the programs history.

Coach Chuck Speer and the Bearcats had the perfect answer.

"I was real pleased how they played the last two games but still have a ways to go. we try not to look back too much and try not to look at the history and being 2-0 and all that, all we're worried about is the next one," Speer said.

"It has nothing to do with luck or anything like that. We come out here everyday and practice as hard as we can. Like coach said we take it one game at a time. We don't look into the future we look at what we have this week and we just take care of it," Brookland middle linebacker Dallon O'Donohue said.

"I feel it's a confidence booster to every one of our kids playing and it really builds and helps on that. When you lose it brings you down but when you are consistently winning it really builds you up and gives you the momentum for the next week," Brookland Offensive lineman Colton Potter said.
