Harding Women's Golf Shoots Season-Best Round at Northeastern State

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - Harding women's golf has played four rounds in two tournaments this fall and has improved in each round. Tuesday, the Lady Bisons shot a season-low 335 and finished 13th of 18 teams in the NSU Golf Classic with a 36-hole score of 674.
Northeastern State hosted the two-day tournament at the par-72, 5,927-yard Cherokee Springs Golf Course.
Southwestern Oklahoma won the team competition at 606, one stroke better than Northeastern State. Baylee Price of Northeastern State won the individual title with a 2-over, 146.
Harding freshman Zhane Mayo shot her second consecutive 80 and tied for 31st at 16-over, 160. Freshman Bryle Alcorn was next among Harding golfers at 25-over 169. She tied for 58th among the 98 golfers in competition.
