WALNUT RIDGE, AR (KAIT) - Beatles lovers rejoice! The city of Walnut Ridge kicks off its sixth annual Beatles at the Ridge music festival on Friday and continues through Saturday.
Events start at 4:30 p.m. with the Beatles Symposium at The Studio, 123 W. Main.
Symposium presentations are free.
The event will include a meet and greet with featured guests including authors Ivor Davis, who toured with the Beatles in 1964, and Jude Southerland Kessler.
Other artists that will be there include Ken Orth, Rande Kessler, and Lisa Harp.
Deadwood Grove takes the stage to begin live music at 6 p.m., followed by Sonny Burgess and the Legendary Pacers at 7 p.m.
Region 8 News will be at the festival live tonight at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Saturday's events start at 9 a.m. with the ATF Martial Arts Board Break, followed by multiple band performances
The first annual Rockin' Wings at the Ridge is also planned for Saturday with cooking beginning at 10 a.m. Spectators will be able to purchase the wings starting at 2:35 p.m.
Also included in the events are a British Car Show & Shine, a dog costume contest, and the Octopus Garden for Kids.
Multiple food vendors will be on site also.
Admission and parking are free.
