BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) -

Three stores were robbed in Blytheville between Sunday and Monday.

According to the Blytheville Police Department, officers responded to an aggravated robbery at the Dollar General on 1810 S. Division Street around 8:05 p.m. Sunday.

Employees told police two black males with handguns came into the store demanding money.

One was wearing a white shirt on his face while the other was wearing a mask, orange shirt, and black pants.

One employee also told police she opened the cash register and one of the men took the money from it.

The suspect then demanded she open the safe and the other registers.

When she told him she did not have access to the safe and other registers, the suspect became angry and hit her in the head with the gun and pushed her to the ground, according to police.

The suspects then fled the scene.

The employee had a laceration on her head but refused medical treatment.

At 8:42 the same night, police responded to an armed robbery at the Flash Market located at 1305 E. Main Street.

Employees told police three black males entered the store. Two took out guns while the third waited at the door.

One of the armed suspects demanded money and then demanded an employee open the other registers and the safe.

When she told him she could not open the other registers or the safe, one of the suspects threatened to shoot her.

The suspect at the door yelled at the other two, then they all three left.

On Monday, officers responded to the Cherry Tree Convenience Store at 1044 Chickasawba Street on an aggravated robbery call.

When officers arrived, they spoke to the store’s owner. He said three males came into his store wearing masks and gloves.

The owner said the men demanded money from the register while they pointed guns at him.

The owner gave the suspects $80 and the suspects fled the area.
