Pedestrian killed in Butler County crash

BUTLER COUNTY, MO (KAIT) - A Missouri man is dead after being hit by a car while walking alongside a Butler County road Wednesday night.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, 24-year-old David A. Bratton of Williamsville was walking on Route T, north of Poplar Bluff, when a 2007 Pontiac G6 hit him around 9 p.m. MSHP states Bratton was in the roadway when the crash happened.

Bratton was taken to the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the car, Abigail Rush,18, of Poplar Bluff, was not injured in the accident. She was wearing a seat belt.
