JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - If the results of the poll hold steady, Arkansas voters will approve one medical marijuana ballot measure and reject the other.
If the election were held today, voters would approve a ballot measure legalizing medical marijuana and limit the number of state marijuana dispensaries to 40. Voters would reject the measure that allows individuals with a "hardship certificate" to grow their own marijuana if they live more than 10 miles from a care center.
"Arkansas voters do appear to distinguish between the two medical marijuana proposals, according to our survey," said Roby Brock of Talk Business and Politics which conducted the survey with Hendrix College.
