JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A 911 tape was released by Jonesboro police Monday in connection of the robbery of the Dollar Tree on Nettleton Avenue and the kidnapping of the assistant manager, Laurie Pixler.

According to the 12-minute tape, dispatchers worked feverishly to get information from the caller. The dispatcher also worked to juggle multiple phone lines, getting information from the caller as well as talking to officers, who were working to get to the scene.

"I was just robbed outside the Dollar Tree on Nettleton. He took one of my co-workers in her car," the caller told Jonesboro police at the beginning of the tape.

Pixler's body was later found near the Payneway exit on I-555.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation should contact JPD at 870-935-5657. They can also report his identity or location anonymously through Crimestoppers by calling 870-935-STOP (7867).
