JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro police are investigating after several shots were reportedly fired in a Jonesboro apartment complex.

Police said it happened on September 22.

According to the report, bullet holes were found in the door and door frames in a pair of apartments at 1328 South Madison.

In the narrative of Officer Victoria Evans, she noted another officer did recover shell casings at the scene.

In the report, one resident of the apartment complex stated he saw a white male wearing all black who left in a black four-door vehicle when police arrived on scene.

The case was turned over to the Criminal Investigation Division of JPD for further investigation.

In the report, Detective Mike Branscum wrote there were no security cameras on site to record the incident.

No one was injured.
