Blytheville teen arrested for several robberies

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) -

A Blytheville teen arrested for several recent robberies Wednesday night is being charged as an adult.

Captain Scott Adams with the Blytheville Police Department said the 17-year-old boy is being charged as an adult.

He is facing six counts of aggravated robbery, eight counts of theft of property, ten counts of aggravated assault, engaging in violent criminal group activity, and fleeing on foot. 

Those robberies include a Wendy's, Jordan's Quick Stop, Little Caesers Pizza, and Family Dollar

Adams said a family member brought the teen to police after running from officers earlier in the day Wednesday. 

The unidentified boy was arraigned in Blytheville District Court Thursday. His bond was set at $250,000 cash.

His next court date is October 31.

Adams also said police are still looking for two suspects connected to these robberies.
