Fisher-Price Recalls Toys

WASHINGTON (AP)-- Fisher-Price is recalling two different types of toys, pogo sticks and push toys, because of injuries to children. Government regulators say there have been 17 reports of injuries from Grow-to-Pro Pogo Sticks, which come in green or pink colors. There's a pin in them that can jam in the down position and then suddenly spring up again. One child's teeth were knocked out, and other youngsters suffered cut gums and mouth bruises.

The other toy being recalled is the Lil' Wagster Dragster, which has an opening in the handle that can grab a child's chin. Those toys, made in Mexico, have a blue handle attached to a green race car with red wheels and the number three on the front.

Consumers are urged to stop using the toys and contact Fisher-Price at 800-991-2444 for instructions on replacements or repairs.
