SEARCY, AR (KAIT) - Police arrested a man suspected of robbing two convenience stores multiple times in the past few weeks.

On Wednesday, Searcy police arrested and charged Jordan Mitchell, 21, of Searcy with four counts of aggravated robbery and one count of aggravated assault.

According to a news release from Officer Terri Lee, public information officer for the Searcy Police Department, Mitchell is accused of robbing the Valero, 1199 N. Maple, on Sept. 4 and 14; and the Searcy Mart, 401 N. Maple, on Sept. 22 and 26.

Mitchell is being held at the White County Law Enforcement Center on $200,000 bond.

Lee said the cases are still under investigation.
