Two men arrested in separate incidents in Blytheville

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - Blytheville police arrested two people Friday in connection with two separate cases.

According to Captain Scott Adams with the Blytheville Police Department, officers arrested Charles Ralph Fisher, 25, for a warrant out of California for robbery.

Police received a tip he was near Capri Apartment around 9:40 a.m. Police arrested him at the apartment complex.

Fisher will be extradited soon to Sacramento, California.

A little while later, around 11 a.m., Blytheville police received a tip that Terrance Mathis, wanted for a shooting on Elm Street, was near Parkway Drive.

Responding officers were given a description of the vehicle Mathis was in.

When police attempted to stop that vehicle on South 2nd Street, Mathis fled from officers. He drove a few block and turned west on Roosevelt Street.

Mathis got out of the vehicle, started running, and threw objects as he ran.

He was eventually taken into custody. Officers also found a bag they suspect had drugs belonging to Mathis in it.
