Man wanted for shooting, battery arrested

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - A Blytheville man wanted in connection to a shooting was arrested Saturday.

According to Captain Scott Adams with Blytheville police, Rakeem Warren was arrested on a first-degree battery charge from 2015.

Warren is also wanted in connection with the April 8 shooting of Reginald Thomas, according to Adams.

Warren initially ran from officers, but K9 Officer Nico tracked him down, finding him hiding in a shed behind an abandoned house.

He will appear in Blytheville District Court Monday.
