LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT/KARK) -

A pair of ballot measures in Arkansas aims to legalize medical marijuana.

Law enforcement from across Arkansas met in Little Rock this week to learn how medical marijuana has influenced other states.

According to KARK-TV, a commander with the Denver Police Department led the class.

Special Agent Matthew Barden said the drug has brought a problem for law enforcement.

"It's an epidemic we have not seen in a very long time, and at the same time, drug use is at the level we have not seen," Barden told KARK.
