FAYETTEVILLE, AR (KAIT) -

A University of Arkansas professor is due in court Monday after he was arrested at a football game Saturday.

According to the Washington County Jail, Lawton Nalley, 37, of Fayetteville, faces public intoxication and disorderly conduct charges.

According to our ABC-affiliate KHOG, witnesses report seeing him in the stands shouting at Arkansas Head Football Coach Bret Bielema.

Officers asked Nalley to leave the stadium and placed him in handcuffs shortly after.

Nalley was booked into jail around 11 p.m. and released on bond less than 40 minutes later.

The university has not commented on the arrest, but their website has Nalley listed as an agriculture professor.
