JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro police are searching for a man who forced his way into a man's home then beat and robbed him.

The 26-year-old victim said he and his girlfriend were asleep when they awoke at 3:30 a.m. Sunday to find a black man wearing a red mask standing in the bedroom of their home in the 3200-block of Fairview Street.

The victim said the burglar began to hit him with a baseball bat.

After stealing the victim's wallet, cellphone and some jewelry, the suspect then ran out of the house.
