JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A Jonesboro woman is under arrest after police said she bought air duster at Walmart and huffed it on a bench outside the store.

Jonesboro police were called to the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Harrisburg Road Sunday night around 7:30 in reference to 25-year-old Verna Lee Clark purchasing multiple cans of air duster to inhale.

The witness told police that Clark purchased the first can, sat on a bench on the side of the store, and inhaled it. He said Clark then went back inside to buy more.

When police arrived, Clark was still inside the store.

"I entered the store and located the suspect but didn't make contact," Officer Garrett Thomason said. "She purchased another can of air duster and left the store and began walking back to the area that she used the first can."

Officer Thomason said Clark was unstable and swayed while walking.

When he made contact with Clark, he learned that she was known to use air duster, was on probation, and was banned from all Walmart locations.

Clark was arrested on charges of breathing, inhaling, or drinking certain intoxicating compounds and criminal trespassing.
