Several air conditioning units stolen, police investigating

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro police are investigating after several air conditioning units were stolen from three separate apartment buildings.

According to a Jonesboro Police Department incident report, an officer was dispatched Tuesday to take a theft report.

The complainant told police that sometime during the last three months air conditioning units were taken from three of her Joe Brand Apartments properties.

She said one window unit, valued at $800, was taken from the apartment complex in the 4600-block of East Nettleton Avenue.

Two units were reportedly missing from the property in the 700-block of Southwest Drive and four units, valued at $3,200 combined, were taken from a complex in the 1900-block of East Johnson Avenue.

The owner said she does not know a specific date when the units were stolen.
