The United States Postal Service announced the 2016 holiday mailing and shipping deadlines for both domestic and international destinations Wednesday.
A news release on their website encourages customers to ship early to ensure their package arrives on time.
To ensure your card, letter, or package reaches its destination within the United States by Dec. 25, the Postal Service recommends customers ship their items by the following dates:
- Dec. 15 for USPS Retail Ground
- Dec. 20 for First-Class Mail
- Dec. 21 for Priority Mail
- Dec. 23 for Priority Mail Express
