JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A Jonesboro man said two suspects entered his home and stole $1,500 from him at gunpoint.
Saturday evening police responded to a suspected aggravated residential burglary in the 200-block of Miller Street.
The victim told police he was sitting on his bed talking to his girlfriend when two black men ran into his house and punched him, causing him to fall off the bed.
One of the suspects reportedly held a handgun to the back of the victim's head and demanded money from him.
The man told police he just received his school money, about $1,500 cash. He said the suspects stole it all from his wallet.
According to the police report, the suspects attempted to tie the victim up, but then just ran away.
After the man and his girlfriend got into his car to find the suspects, he saw them at the intersection of Bridge Street and Word Avenue. The victim told police that a man wearing a blue and black fleece jacket pointed the gun at him again so he kept driving.
When police arrived at the victim's home, they noticed his shirt was torn and he had blood dripping down his nose.
The officer could not locate any usable evidence at the man's home.
The victim described the man wearing the blue and black fleece to be about 6 feet tall with a medium Afro that was messy on top, according to the report. That suspect is said to have a slender build and dark skin.
The second suspect was described as a little shorter but with a similar build, but that is all the victim could remember about him.
