JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Several people came home Saturday to find their homes had been broken into. All three of those homes are in the same area.

Three people reported their homes were broken into and several personal items were stolen.

Police responded to the burglaries within a few hours of each other.

Officers were dispatched to the 1300-block of Pardew Street at around 6 p.m. Saturday.

The victim told police someone made their way into his home through a bathroom window and stole multiple items including a guitar, a Fossil watch, and a MacBook Pro.

He said he left home earlier Saturday, around 10:30 a.m., and came home around 5:30 p.m. to find his home in disarray and the things missing.

Police did find the screen to the bathroom window bent and pulled off the frame, but no usable evidence was found.

Another victim in the 900-block of Markle Street found her home broken into around 8 p.m.

The victim said she returned home to find all of the lights on in her house and the couch moved from the window.

An Xbox and several games, an internet modem, shoes, and clothing were missing.

The screen to her window was also ripped off and the window was cracked open with her drapes shut inside the window.

Fingerprints were collected and logged into evidence.

Police were then called to the 1300-block of Oakdale Street around 9 p.m.

According to the report, the victim came home around 8:30 p.m. to find his carport door open.

The door was kicked in and the home “was found in disarray.”

The man told police two iPads and a Samsung Galaxy tablet were stolen.

Police have not said that these three burglaries are connected

Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to call Crimestoppers at 935-STOP (7867).
