Convenience store clerk robbed at knifepoint

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - Police are investigating after a convenience store clerk reported being robbed at knifepoint.

Officers with the Blytheville Police Department were called to Interstate Shell, 241 N. Service Rd., on the morning of Oct. 13, according to a news release from Criminal Investigation Division Commander Captain Scott Adams.

They spoke with a clerk who said an unknown white male came into the store and demanded money.

She told police the suspect showed her a knife and again demanded money from the register.

According to Adams, the suspect got away with roughly $190.

He was last seen heading west behind the store. Officers searched the area but did not find him.

The suspect was described as being 6' with dark hair wearing a white, long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
