Semi overturns south of Black Oak

BLACK OAK, AR (KAIT) -

Police are on the scene of a single vehicle accident on Highway 158 south of Black Oak. We have learned that a semi-truck overturned.

According to Justin Rolland with the Craighead County Sheriff's Office, traffic is slow in the area of Highway 158 in the curve between Black Oak and Caraway. 

Rolland said the truck was hauling peanuts.

Rolland said there are no major injuries but traffic is slow. Both lanes of traffic are closed.

    Independence County's recycling program is costing the county thousands of dollars.
