LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Lawrence County sheriff's deputies are searching for a man who made himself at home in someone else's storm shelter.
On Thursday, Oct. 13, a woman called dispatch to report finding two men on her property in the 200-block of North Hendrix Street in Imboden.
When deputies arrived, the men had already left.
During a search of the woman's property, deputies found clothing, firearms, and controlled substances in the storm cellar.
The woman said the items did not belong to her.
According to a news release from Detective Andrew Turner, it appeared that someone had been staying in the storm cellar.
Using the items gathered at the scene, Turner says they have developed a "person of interest."
No arrests have been made at this time.
