SWIFTON, AR (KAIT) - The Swifton Fire Department will host their third annual fall festival Saturday to raise money that will help firefighters better protect citizens.
The event begins at 7 a.m. at the Swifton Fire Department and lasts throughout the day. Vendors will begin setting up around 11 a.m.
All of the money raised goes toward upgrading the department and equipment. For example, they got enough money at the first festival to buy a new fire truck.
In 2015, they raised more than $11,000 and hope to raise even more this year.
