JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A woman will probably leave any future auto repairs to her husband after police say she got pinned beneath the wheel of her SUV.
Around 4 p.m. Jonesboro police and emergency crews responded to a call in the 2100-block of Rosemond.
The 26-year-old woman told officers she was on the phone with her husband, "trying to figure out how to reset the mileage" on her Toyota RAV4 following an oil change.
She apparently forgot the SUV was in neutral when she released the brake, according to the initial incident report.
When the vehicle started to roll backward down the hill, she began to panic.
In her panic, she stepped out of the vehicle then fell under it, the report said.
The SUV came to a stop on top of her, the front driver's side tire pinning the left side of her waist to the ground.
Emergency crews removed her from beneath the wheel and took her to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
