It’s not even Halloween, and the Jonesboro Police Department suspects some people were dressing up as medical professionals. That’s not a crime but forgery is.

According to the report filed by Jonesboro police, three suspects have been caught on camera cashing fake payroll checks.

It happened earlier this month at Hay's Supermarket on Gee Street. Two women and one man are accused of cashing the forged checks from Baptist Memorial Healthcare. The detective working the case said the checks themselves are fake. He also said it wouldn't be a leap to say the suspects are dressed in scrubs to try to sell the story.

In all, over $2,000 was taken in this crime. If you can make an ID on any one of these suspects, that will be worth real money to you. Call in your tip right now to Crimestoppers at 935-STOP.

On warrant watch, JPD is asking your help track down two people with over 50 warrants between them.

Michael Turner has 29 of them.  All but three of them are for contempt of court.

Jessica Vaughn has 27 warrants.
If you can tell police where to find Jessica Vaughan or Michael Turner, it's worth money to you. Call in that tip to Crimestoppers at 935-STOP or text it.

Take your iPhone or Droid phone and type in 2-7-4-6-3-7 or type in the word "CRIMES" if your phone can do that. Then, in the message, type in 935stop. One word, followed by your tip.

Hit send, and you'll get a message back from Crimestoppers with your anonymous tip number. This is yours to keep for any future reward. That's how Crimestoppers works 935-STOP.

Editor’s Note:  An earlier version of this report of CrimeStoppers incorrectly identified a photograph that showed both a suspect and a woman standing nearby. Police have confirmed the woman is not a suspect in this investigation. We regret the error.
