Selfie with your ballot okay in Arkansas

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - With election season in full swing, people are casting their votes early.

When it comes to taking a photo with your ballot, laws are different in each state.

Justin Timberlake took a picture casting his ballot in Tennessee on Monday.

That picture could cost somebody in Tennessee a $50 fine or 30 days in jail.

In Arkansas, it is not illegal to take a picture with your ballot according to Craighead County Clerk Kade Holliday.

Holliday said that as long as you are not bothering other people, then taking a picture while you vote is legal.
