FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT) - Police arrested a man accused in a Sept. 11 shooting at a local grocery store.
Detectives with the Forrest City Police Department arrested Edward Rushing, 21, on Wednesday, Oct. 26.
Investigators say Rushing hit the victim with a firearm then shot at him.
The alleged assault occurred on Sunday, Sept. 11, at Freeman's Grocery, 512 W. Broadway, according to a social media post by the department.
Rushing is charged with aggravated assault and second-degree battery, both Class D felonies.
