JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

The Arkansas State women's basketball program will host its annual "Evening Out with the Red Wolves" on Friday, Oct. 28 at the Convocation Center.

The event, for girls in first through eighth grades, is scheduled to run from 6 - 10 p.m.

Girls attending the "Evening Out" will have the opportunity to eat dinner with the 2016-2017 Red Wolves women's basketball team, play games and meet the A-State coaches and staff members.

"The event is an excellent opportunity for our young fans to come out and get to know our team," Aundrea Gamble, A-State assistant coach said. "The night is about more than just basketball, as it allows our players and young fans to interact and form bonds, and relationships that will carry on. It also allows the parents an opportunity to have a rare night out and enjoy themselves."

Registration for the event will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Yellow Entrance of the Convocation Center.

The cost to attend is $20, and the Red Wolves coaching staff and players will provide supervision.

A security officer will be on duty as well.

For more information or to register, contact assistant coach Aundrea Gamble at 870-972-3583 or email her at agamble@astate.edu.
