LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT/KARK) - After the Arkansas Supreme Court threw out medical marijuana measure Issue 7 on Thursday, a group hosted a rally Friday to protest the decision at the Arkansas State Capitol.
According to KARK-TV in Little Rock, hundreds took part in the rally.
Issue 7 Campaign Director Melissa Fults said the court's reason for throwing out the measure was not good enough for her.
"We have had over 700 signatures that had been corrected and we had corrected them the way we were told to do. They denied them," says Fults.
Fults said her group plans to appeal the Supreme Court's decision.
The group plans to host another rally at the Pulaski County Courthouse on Saturday morning.
